Daisy is a 14 year old, 15h paint mare who we have been using in our lesson program, however we feel she would be happier in a one person situation.

 

Daisy is easy to handle on the ground, and happily stands for hours to be groomed by the kids. She crossties, straight ties, loads, clips, stands quietly for the vet and farrier, and bathes. She has no vices in the stall and is easy to catch in the field. Goes out with one gelding currently but would be fine in a single or herd situation. We have used her as a baby sitter for several young OTTB's, and she does wonderfully. Currently wearing front shoes.

 

Under saddle Daisy is solid w/t/c and we have popped her over small fences. She's incredibly scopy and bold.  She has an old bow that will limit her ability to jump. She understands basic lateral movements. She does have a motor so will require an intermediate or above rider. She hacks quietly out around our hay field alone or in a group.
